Community Regional Medical Center’s stroke program has once again been awarded the Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke Gold Plus quality achievement award. The hospital has received this award every year since 2018. 

Clovis Community Medical Center was recognized with the Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke Silver Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite award. 

What it means: Get With The Guidelines puts the expertise of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association to work for hospitals nationwide, helping ensure patient care is aligned with the latest evidence- and research-based guidelines. As a participant in Get With The Guidelines programs, Community qualified for the awards by demonstrating our team’s commitment to improving quality care. 

Why this matters: Heart disease and stroke are the no. 1 and 5 causes of death in the United States, respectively, according to the American Heart Association 2025 Statistical Update. Studies show patients can recover better when providers like Community consistently follow treatment guidelines.
