Why Choose Community?

The difference is felt in the gentle expertise of our staff, and in the perinatal education and resources we have available for you and your new, or expanding, family.

Doula Partnerships

A female doula holds the hand of a pregnant mother who is in a hospital bedWe're so proud to welcome doulas into our hospitals, who provide parents guidance and support throughout the pregnancy journey — before, during and after the birth of a child. Your doula is your advocate, there to answer questions, act as a link between you and your care team, and provide both physical and emotional support.

YoMingo® Education App

You probably have a million questions about what to expect during your pregnancy. With articles on topics ranging from prenatal care, to labor and birth, to breast- or formula-feeding your baby, the YoMingo app has you covered.

Mental Health Resources

Depression after childbirth is the number one complication of pregnancy, affecting about 1 million people a year in the U.S. alone. The good news is that perinatal depression is treatable. Your mental health is important to us, so we provide new parents with a list of Fresno County maternal health resources so that help is within reach if needed.
