Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Community Health System! We're currently accepting volunteers for a variety of positions.

Our volunteers are a diverse group who generously give thousands of hours each year to support our patients, families and staff. Volunteers are an essential part of carrying out Community’s mission to better the lives of all those we serve.

Some volunteer opportunities include:

• Helping with discharging patients

• Greeting and escorting patients and visitors

• Running errands for hospital departments

• Staffing the campus shuttle at Community Regional and Clovis Community

• Staffing the gift shop at Clovis Community Medical Center

• Performing clerical duties

Special Volunteer Opportunity Available

Community Regional Medical Center 

Autism Resource Center/Pediatric Specialty Sensory Room

Sensory stimulation is especially helpful for people with autism, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, or sensory processing impairments, but they also provide a safe and relaxed environment for people of all ages and abilities.

Prospective volunteers must meet minimum requirements to be considered for this program:

1. Be at least 18 years old.
2. Dedicate a minimum of one, four-hour work shift on the same day and time each week.
3. Complete volunteer orientation requirements per policy.
4. Send self or public referrals to Community Volunteer Resource Center.
5. Complete orientation checklist for Resource Center. 
6. Understand developmental differences and the systems of support in our region (school, resource centers, programs, therapies, support groups, etc.). Assist families with navigation for these services both in person and via telephone.
7. Maintain daily operations of Resource Center.
