In my 20 years working with the Fresno Grizzlies, I have watched downtown Fresno grow alongside Chukchansi Park with the support of its founding partners like Community Health System.
I think Community's commitment to the ballpark shows their commitment to downtown. As a key stakeholder in the neighborhood, with tons of employees who serve countless patients, they've consistently proven how much downtown Fresno means to them. It's been that way for decades, and I know it will continue for years to come.
Their contributions to Chukchansi Park are just some of the many ways Community has continued to serve and help rebuild downtown Fresno. Most recently, their support of our "Splash Park" — a $1.3 million expansion to the stadium designed to keep families cool during the summer heat — has been a game changer for the Grizzlies and their fans.
Our partnership over all these years with Community has helped us continue to serve those who live, work and play downtown. They've played a major role in the entire history of the Grizzlies, and an even bigger role in the history and future of our downtown.
