Community Medical Centers is the largest and most comprehensive hospital system in the San Joaquin Valley. For more than a century, our aim has been medical excellence and compassionate care. 

We are a locally owned, not-for-profit health care system that operates three acute-care hospitals – Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center and Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital – as well as several long-term care and outpatient centers.

At Community Regional in downtown Fresno we operate the only combined burn and Level 1 trauma center between Sacramento to Los Angeles, the only high-risk pregnancy unit in the region, and the state’s largest and second busiest emergency department.

We also provide state-of-the-art medical technology, including the world’s first Generation 4 CyberKnife^® and the Valley’s only bi-plane angiography system.

Community serves as the Valley’s essential “safety-net” provider, caring for the uninsured and underinsured in a region considered among the most challenging in the nation for health care.

Our affiliation with one of the nation’s best medical schools, University of California, San Francisco, brings leading-edge specialists and research to the Valley as part of the UCSF-Fresno Medical Education Program.
